Saturday Keynote Speaker

Dave Casler, KE0OG

Dave cut his teeth on Amateur Radio as a senior at BYU in 1975 with the BYU Ham Radio Club as a Novice operator. He has also held General, Advanced and now Amateur Extra licenses. He has a passion for ham radio AND for sharing it with others. Dave is beloved in the ham radio community for his website and YouTube channel, “Ham Radio Answers,” where he has training videos for the Technician, General, and Amateur Extra license exams that have assisted many hams in obtaining and upgrading their licenses. He also hosts a Q&A series geared toward new and prospective hams called “Ask Dave,” where the only silly questions are those left un-asked, and many video reviews of radio equipment and general Amateur Radio topics.

Dave is currently ‘retired’ and lives in the mountains of western Colorado with his wife Loretta, an artist and ham (KBØVWW). Besides ham radio, he enjoys authoring and publishing novels, photography, motorcycles and ATVs, and genealogy.
